Camilla Frederick

Dr. Camilla Frederick is the medical director and co-owner of Quad City Occupational Health and Clinton Occupational Health. Dr. Frederick works primarily out of the Davenport facility. She has 22 of years of experience in Occupational Medicine and her professional background includes; completing medical school through the University of Iowa and a residency in family practice. During her residency she became interested in Occupational Medicine and has since practiced Occupational Medicine. She has a Masters in Public Health in the Occupational Medicine tract. She is a Certified Medical Review Officer.

Dr. Frederick was always interested in serving the underprivileged. She took a one year job in Occupational Medicine before moving to Kentucky to work with a 92 year old doctor who went into the mountainous areas of Kentucky to serve people who couldn't or wouldn't come into the city for care. During the year she worked in Occupational Medicine she realized that the injured worker was as under served as the Mountain folk of Kentucky. This experience gave her a passion to practiced Occupational Medicine as a life long mission.


Education:

 

  • Dr. Frederick holds her medical degree from the University of Iowa.
  • She completed her residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
  • She maintains board certification in Family Practice.
  • She has been a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) since 1993.
  • She has completed a Masters in Public Health through the Medical College of Wisconsin-2006.
  • Some recent changes in requirements for board certification in Occupational Medicine have her pursuing this in the near future.

 

 


Interests:

When not caring for patients at Braaten Health, she can be found:

 

  • Working with her husband on their ranch in rural Illinois
  • At horse shows with her husband.
  • Enjoying the large number of young people who daily come to visit at her home
